The My Story Podcast is hosted by Award-Winning filmmaker, Conrad Weaver.

Conrad is owner of  Conjostudios, LLC, a video production company based in Emmitsburg, Maryland. Conrad received a Mid-America Regional EMMY® Award for his 2014 documentary feature, the Great American Wheat Harvest. In Early 2016 he completed his second feature-length documentary, Thirsty Land which is now available on Amazon Prime. His latest feature-length documentary, Heroin’s Grip is the story about the opioid crisis. All three of these films are available on Prime Video at Amazon.com. Conrad recently completed a short form documentary called Bluebirds of Antietam and he’s currently working on a documentary series called PTSD911. He is also the executive producer and screen writer of a feature narrative film called Scars of an Orphan.

Many of the guests who appear on the podcast are people Conrad has met over the years in his filmmaking efforts.

Conrad is a seasoned pro known for his compelling cinematography and a passion for telling stories that matter. “Telling stories that matter is so much more fulfilling than stories that only entertain. My responsibility in the world, is to leave it a better place than when I arrived. If the films I produce can play a role in that, then I’ve been successful.” In his spare time Conrad enjoys photography, skiing, sailing, and traveling. He has done volunteer work with orphans in Ukraine, Mexico, and Guatemala, and he serves on the Citizen’s Advisory Committee for the town of Emmitsburg where he currently lives. Conrad previously served on the board and as president of the Emmitsburg Business and Professional Association. Conrad lives in Emmistburg, Maryland with his wife Jodi. The have two adult children and one grandchild.
